Happy 70th Birthday

I have been busy making cards but have not been posting them onto my blog lately, the below card is a stepper card that i made using pastel coloured card and an embossing folder.  The image is a lilly of the vally image free from  a magazine, i used a pearescent paper from a friends stash, and some handmade flowers made using a spellbinders flower creations and a tim holtz distress ink.  I used the fantastic tutorial on Crafty Loops blog to make these flowers.  I made the sentiment myself for the outside and used the number 70 from a freebie sentiment from Netty's Cards.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:
http://www.doyoustackup.blogspot.com/2012/02/dysu-59-layers.html
http://craftuscrazy.blogspot.com/2012/02/challenge-21-everyone-has-favoritesw.html I just love pastel colours - i find them so easy to work with.
